THE END DAYS
Evening Prayers
1.
ACTS OF FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE
FAITH:
O my God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three divine
Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. I believe that Thy
divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that He shall come to
judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy
Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and life ever-lasting. Amen.
(An indulgence of 3 years)
HOPE:
O my God, relying on Thy infinite goodness and promises, I hope
to obtain the pardon of my sins with the help of Thy grace, and life
everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my
Redeemer.
(An indulgence of 3 years)
LOVE:
O my God, I love Thee above all things with my whole heart and
soul because Thou art all-good and deserving of all my love. I love my
neighbor as myself for the love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured
me and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
(An indulgence of 3 years)
2. THE
MEMORARE
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never
was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy
help, and sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this
confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To thee I
come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word
incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy clemency hear and
answer me. Amen.
(An indulgence of 3 years)
3. PRAYERS
TO THE SACRED HEART

shall die today, true repentance to sinners, the light of the Faith to
pagans, and Thy blessing to me and mine. To Thee, O most compassionate
Heart of Jesus, I commend all these souls, and I offer to Thee on their
behalf all Thy merits, together with the merits of Thy most holy Mother
and of all the saints and angels, and all the sacrifices of the Holy

His Will, we call upon you to intercede before the Most Blessed Trinity
and Mary, the Queen of the Angels, in Our behalf.
We thank you for the care and protection given us
all through our lives and ask for your protection in death.
Heavenly Choirs of Angels, help us give glory to God
by our lives. Help us to know, love and serve Him faithfully. Help us
to practice our Faith and the courage to keep our Faith. Keep far from
us all physical and spiritual dangers. Protect our families, homes and
ourselves. We ask you to help us do the Will of God, accept His Will as
the best for us, and trust in His Fatherly care.
May the nine Choirs of Angels praise and glory in
God.
May the Seraphim glory in the love of God.
May the Cherubim glory in the perfection of God.
May the Thrones glory in the mercy of God.
May the Dominions glory in the wisdom of God.

7. A PRAYER
FOR PRIESTS
Keep them, I pray Thee, dearest Lord.
Keep them for they are Thine.
Thy priests whose lives burn out
before
Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them for they are in the world
Though from the world apart,
When earthly pleasures tempt,
allure, –
Shelter them in Thy heart.
Keep them, and comfort them in
hours
Of loneliness and pain
When all their life of sacrifice
For souls seems but in vain.
Keep them, and O remember Lord
They have no one but Thee
Yet they have only human hearts,
With human frailty
Keep them as spotless as the Host,
That daily, they caress –
Their every thought and word and
deed,
Deign, dearest Lord, to bless.
8. PRAYER TO
ADOPT A BABY TO BE ABOUT TO BE ABORTED
"Jesus, my Lord, through the intercession of Mary, Your Mother,
who bore You so lovingly, and of Saint Joseph, strong man of faith, who
protected You both, I pray to You for the life of the unborn child who
is in danger of abortion, the one I have spiritually adopted. Please
give to the parents of this particular child the grace and courage to
bring it to the life You have destined for him (her). "
This spiritual,
mental adoption is simply a personal
resolution to pray daily, at least for a year, for a particular child
in the womb in danger of deliberate abortion. This prayer petitions God
to allow the child to have its God-given right to life, and come to
know, love and serve God on earth, and then be happy with Him forever
in heaven.
During your
earthly life this spiritually adopted
child will be known to God. But, in eternal life, you will find a
surprised happiness in each other's company.
9. PRAYER TO
ST. MICHAEL AFTER HOLY COMMUNION
Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world,
have mercy on us
- Pray for us. O glorious
St. Michael.
- That we may be made worthy of
the Promises of Christ.
Let us pray:
Relying, O Lord, upon the intercession
of the Thy blessed Archangel Michael, we humbly beg of Thee. that the
Sacrament of the Eucharist which we have received may make our souls
holy and pleasing to Thee. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
10. PRAYER
TO ST. JOSEPH
Oh, St Joseph whose protection is so great , so
strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my
interest and desires. Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful
intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual
blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here
below your heavenly
power. I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of
Fathers. Oh, St. Joseph , I never weary contemplating you, and Jesus
asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near
your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me and ask
Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breadth. St. Joseph, Patron
of departing souls – Pray for me.
[This prayer was found in the
fiftieth year of Our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. In 1505 It was sent from the Pope to Emperor Charles when
he was going to battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear or keep
it about themselves, shall never die a sudden death, or be drown, nor
shall poison take effect on them; neither shall they fall into the
hands of the enemy. or shall be burned in any fire or shall be
overpowered in battle.]
11. NIGHT
PRAYER TO OUR BLESSED MOTHER
Night is falling, dear mother, the long day is o'er;
And before thy loved image I am kneeling once more,
To thank thee for keeping me safe through the day,
To ask thee this night to keep evil away.
Many times have I fallen today, Mother dear;
Many graces neglected since last I knelt here.
Wilt thou not in pity, mine own Mother mild,
Ask Jesus to pardon the sins of thy child.
I am going to rest, for the day's work is done;
Its hours and its moments have passed one by one.
And the God who will judge me has noted them all.
He has numbered each grace, He has counted each fall.
In His book they are written against the last day.
O Mother ask Jesus to wash them away.
For one drop of His blood which for sinners was
spilt,
Is sufficient to cleanse the whole world from its
guilt.
And if ere the dawn I should draw my last breath,
And the sleep that I take be the long sleep of death,
Be near me, dear Mother, for Jesus' dear sake
When my soul on eternity's shore shall awake. Amen.
At the end of the day, make sure to
pray one Our Father, one Hail Mary,
and one Glory Be for the intentions of the Pope to gain indulgences for
all our work and prayers during the day.
Each Plenary indulgence requires us,
in addition to the condition
(which is set by the Church) attached to a prayer or an act of good
work, to satisfy the following 4 conditions:
(1) to say the Creed, (2) to say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one
Glory Be for the intention of the Pope, (3) to go to confession and
receive Holy Communion either eight days before or eight days after the
day during which the work or prayer is said for the plenary indulgence,
and (4) not to have any attachment to sin (even venial sin).
(These four conditions are set by the
Church)
